THRESHOLD TRAINING NETWORK
REPORTING TO: Manager, Threshold Training Network (TTN)
BACKGROUND
Threshold Training Network, Main Rd, Tallaght provides education and
wellbeing services for people with mental health difficulties. Our
education programmes, Certificates in Employability Skills, are on the
national framework of qualifications at QQI level 3 and 4. TTN also
runs short series of wellbeing workshops and wellness recovery
coaching *-1, at the centre. We are recognized
by DDLETB, our main funder, as a Specialist Training Provider for our
education programmes. TTN also receives grant support from the HSE for
our wellbeing activities.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
THE OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT WORKER IS AS FOLLOWS:
* He/She provides a key role in ensuring mental health recovery
values and practices are woven through out all TTN’s services
* He/she manages and carries out the Individual Learning Plans
(ILPs). Meet with learners *-1 once a month to
complete their ILP’s reviewing their goals and collaboratively set
SMART goals.
* He/she facilitates wellbeing activities for learners and workshops
for learners and the community.
* He/ she coordinates the wellbeing services on offer in TTN with
input as applicable from the Manager and other staff members
* He/she is part of the team that ensures the smooth running of all
services in the Centre, nurturing a philosophy of wellness recovery,
to empower those attending its services to embrace personal change and
manage their wellbeing for better quality of life.

SKILLS
* Knowledge of mental health and mental health recovery

and ways of working
* Attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise tasks depending on needs
* Facilitation skills
* IT proficiency
* Ability to use initiative and self-manage day to day task within
the remit of the role
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors degree or above essential (NFQ 7 or above), preferably
in social care, social work, training and education, occupational
therapy, counselling or psychology
* Have a minimum of 6 monthes experience in mental health, wellbeing
and or a recovery role
* QQI level 6 qualification in facilitation and training, such as
Train the Trainer desirable
* Coru registration is desirable but not essential
WORKING REQUIREMENTS
FOUR DAYS A WEEK: Tuesday to Friday - 9 am-5 pm ( **Apply on the
